Performed by acclaimed pianist Mischa Cheung, Piano Fantasies is an album of twelve newly arranged pieces for solo piano from FINAL FANTASY, KINGDOM HEARTS, CHRONO TRIGGER, and Secret of Mana.

Produced by Merregnon Studios with official license from SQUARE ENIX, the album features brand-new versions of tracks such as No Promises to Keep (FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH), Edge of Existence (KINGDOM HEARTS), To Far Away Times (CHRONO TRIGGER), and Fear of the Heavens (Secret of Mana), with music by Nobuo Uematsu, Yoko Shimomura, Yasunori Mitsuda, and Hiroki Kikuta.

Piano Fantasies will be released on October 31, 2025, on CD, vinyl, and all major streaming platforms, via Merregnon Records and Black Screen Records, featuring exclusive cover artwork by the SQUARE ENIX in-house art team.

Mischa Cheung is a regular pianist in Merregnon Studios’ Game Concerts series, including Final Symphony, Final Symphony II, and Symphonic Memories. He has performed with leading orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, and recorded the FINAL FANTASY IX Piano Concerto for the Final Symphony II album in 2023.

Cheung studied with Konstantin Scherbakov at the Zurich University of the Arts, where he now also teaches. As a member of the Gershwin Piano Quartet, he tours internationally and works across a wide range of classical and contemporary projects.
